Kythira is an island in South Western Hellas (Greece), famously known for its excellent honey, its somewhat unusual history and its varied natural beauty. I have been a visitor and a friend of this magnificent --- and until recently largely unspoilt --- island for more than twenty years and during my time there I have taken a large number of photographs some of which you may find in this page. Kythira presents a unique blend of Hellenic and European culture through its varied architecture, its traditions and last, but not least, its history. Hopefully some of the pictures that follow will convey a small part of the beauty of this magical place!
